Training Programs

Professor Susskind offers numerous executive training programs each year; reduced fees are available to public agency and not-for-profit representatives. Some of these are described below, with links to more information.

Senior Executive Program on Negotiation (www.pon.harvard.edu)
A two day negotiation training program for senior executives in both the public and private sectors. Offered six times a year in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Dealing with An Angry Public
A two day training program for public, not-for-profit and private sector specialists in community affairs, public relations, and regulatory relations. Offered twice a year in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Adapting to Climate Change: Managing Risk in Decision-making (www.lincolninst.edu)
A two day training program open to planners, lawyers, developers, and community activists interested in learning more about strategies for adapting to climate change risks at the local level. Offered in various locations several times a year. An advanced course is offered in Cambridge, Massachusetts once each year.

Water Diplomacy Workshop (www.waterdiplomacy.org)
A one-week train-the-trainer interactive course for water professionals from around the world. Taught in connection with Tufs University PhD people in water diplomacy.
